After your first few open water scuba dives, you’ll soon want to scuba dive a bit deeper. There’s something mysterious and exciting about depth and deep scuba diving. The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course is ideal for those seeking scuba dive adventure and to increase their scuba skills and dive confidence.

Do you want to learn to scuba dive to new depths?

If you want to learn to safely scuba dive on wrecks below 30m, or perhaps progress on to Technical Scuba Diving, start here with the PADI Deep Diver specialty course.

We’ll introduce you to scuba diving with pony bottles and stage tanks, and help you to understand air consumption rates so that you can learn to plan deep scuba dives safely.

At the end of the PADI deep dive specialty course, you will be qualified to scuba dive to 40m. Could you imagine coming this far after learning to scuba dive on your PADI Open Water Diver Course!

Many wrecks are often found in deeper water. Thats why the PADI Deep Diver course is a natural companion to the PADI Wreck Diver course. Sometimes you can take these two scuba diving courses concurrently. Other scuba dive training to consider is the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Course on your way to becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver or a PADI Dive Master.

What You Learn on the Deep Diver Course

• Techniques for diving in the deeper range of 18-40 metres/ 60-130 feet. Deep scuba diving equipment considerations
• Experience in planning, organizing and making at least four deep scuba dives.
